CURRENT BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
1. Legal Requirement – Guest Registration
It is a legal requirement in Turkey that all guests staying in villas or apartments must provide their passport details to the booking/letting agent before arrival.
Failure to do so may result in refusal of entry to the villa or apartment.
2. About Kaunos Tours
All bookings are made with Kaunos Tours and its villa management company Kaunos Villas, officially registered with TÜRSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies) under registration number A-3830 and operating since 1993 in Dalyan, Ortaca, Turkey.
Kaunos Tours provides villa accommodation, tours, car hire and transfers.
3. Your Contract
When booking a package holiday, your contract is with Kaunos Tours.
When booking individual services (such as accommodation only, car hire or transfers), Kaunos Tours acts as an agent for the supplier and the supplier’s terms apply.
A contract becomes legally binding only when:

Your booking has been confirmed, and
-
Full payment has been received.
By making a booking, the lead guest confirms that they are authorised to accept these terms on behalf of all guests in the group.
4. Booking Process
Bookings are made online or via our office by selecting available dates and submitting a booking request.
A deposit is required to secure the booking.
For bookings made within 8 weeks of arrival, full payment is required immediately.
Once a deposit is received:

The villa is removed from all advertising platforms

The deposit is transferred to the villa owner

The deposit becomes non-refundable
5. Payments
Payments can be made by:

Visa or Mastercard

Cash in Turkish Lira, British Pounds, Euros or US Dollars

Bank transfer (on request)
Full payment must be received no later than 60 days before arrival.
Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and cancellation charges will apply.
6. Cancellations

Cancellations must be sent in writing to bookings@kaunostours.com.
7. Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in: after 16:00

Check-out: by 10:00
Cleaners must have access after 09:00 on departure day.
Late departures require prior written approval.
8. Local Laws
Local law strictly prohibits:

Using swimming pools
-
Playing music
between 00:00 and 08:00
Violation may result in fines or legal action.
9. Guest Responsibilities
Guests must:

Respect the property and neighbours

Switch off air conditioning when leaving the villa

Secure doors and windows
-
Use safes where provided
Failure to do so may result in damage charges or termination of stay without refund.
10. Force Majeure
Kaunos Tours is not liable for delays, cancellations or changes caused by events beyond its control including extreme weather, pandemics, natural disasters, strikes or government actions.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Turkish Law.
In the event of any dispute, the Courts of Turkey shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
